Dr Cynthia Chen was a graduate from the University of Melbourne.  She has practised for over 20 years in Australia and Hong Kong as a Physician (Specialist in Internal Medicine and General Practice) and Neurologist, both in public and private practice.  She is now a Consultant Neurologist at the Western and Sunshine Hospitals (Western Health).

Dr Cynthia Chen is a highly qualified general neurologist with special interests and experience in headaches, epilepsy, Parkinsonism, dementia and stroke. She can perform BOTOX injections for chronic migraine.

Dr Cynthia Chen is happily married with a daughter and a son.  She enjoys the good life on weekends especially when she is spending time with her dog.  She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Dr Cheng is a neurologist with subspecialty interest and training in Headache Medicine and Movement disorders.

Dr Cheng graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 and completed her neurology training at Barwon University Hospital, Western Health and Alfred Health. She trained with the Headache Service, Movement Disorder Unit and the Acute and Chronic Pain Unit at Alfred Health.

Dr Cheng is able to manage complex headache and migraine conditions. She believes in improving service delivery and advocacy for headache patients. She is actively involved in the Australia New Zealand Headache Society as a general committee member. She is also a visiting neurologist and part of the multidisciplinary team at Alfred Health Caulfield Headache Clinic. Her current research is in the real world experience of CGRP monoclonal antibodies in chronic migraine.

She can administer injectable treatments for chronic migraine (Botox for chronic migraine, Botox for trigeminal neuralgia, greater occipital nerve blocks, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point injections), and injection treatment for cervical dystonia and facial dyskinesias.

Dr Margaret Ma is an experienced neurologist with special interests in movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and multiple sclerosis. She has been practising in Hong Kong and Australia for more than twenty years. She completed her medical degree in the Chinese university of Hong Kong in 2002. In 2014, she completed her Neurology and Internal Medicine physician training with the Hong Kong College of Physicians.

Following this, Dr Margaret Ma completed her fellowships training in movement disorders unit in Westmead Hospital in NSW in 2016. She had further training in the multiple sclerosis unit and stroke unit in Royal Melbourne Hospital in Victoria in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

As a former Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the movement disorder lead in one of the busiest tertiary centres serving more than a million population in Hong Kong, Dr Margaret Ma launched comprehensive multidisciplinary programs for people with Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, functional neurological disorders and stroke. She is an expert on offering injectable treatment on cervical dystonia, dystonic head and limbs tremor, oromandibular dystonia, focal dystonia, spasticity, hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm facial dyskinesia and migraine. She also manages general neurology problem, multiple sclerosis, and stroke etc.
